Bar Tending Skills
Engage with diverse clientele demonstrating a strong customer focus.
Work well with other bartenders and excellent at tracking customer orders and remembering frequent patrons’ favourite orders.
Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized bar.
Monitor possible customer intoxication levels, cutting off alcohol and calling taxis when necessary.
Take orders (both food and drink), prepare food (soup and sandwiches) and serve at tables.

Organise shift rotas, cash handling and balance tills/floats.
Prepare cash and credit card receipts for bank deposits.
Order float and any extra change (particularity through busy periods e.g. xxxx).
Order vegetables, bread, meat and chicken and all other items for food deliveries.
Order brewery and other alcohol and non-alcohol related deliveries - this exercise requires good attention to detail.
Ensure that deliveries are accurate and as stated on dockets and invoices.
Coach and develop new staff members.
Answer and resolve calls from customers regarding their inquiries.
Often deal with more than one task at the same time incorporating both short term and long term business objectives.

Assist with problem solving and hold troubleshooting meetings particularly in regards to customer service and handling complaints prior to shifts.
